In 1995, Courtney Love and her band Hole played Selina's in Coogee. Love levelled a tirade of abuse at Triple J presenter Helen Razer, who had bagged her on air. She then simulated childbirth using a small doll. Love leapt offstage, only to be tossed back onstage minus a shoe. She screamed: "Who stole my f---ing shoe?'' The shoe was hurled at bass-player Melissa Auf der Maur's head, who was taken to hospital. Love, furious, terminated the gig.
